Performed QA activities for enterprise cybersecurity software within an Agile team distributed across the United States, Costa Rica, and Colombia, collaborating closely with U.S.-based teammates and the Team Lead. Contributed to the Cybersecurity Center of Excellence through a Cybersecurity Fundamentals workshop, technical presentations, mentoring, and Confluence documentation. Delivered workshops and mentoring that strengthened team security practices. Executed exploratory and regression testing on security agents.

Served as the primary QA Engineer in Costa Rica for the team's first Azure SmartConnector, collaborating with engineering teams in Costa Rica and India. Then helped with the testing of the second cloud ArcSight AWS SmartConnector. Validated cloud functionality and worked through challenges involving Azure configuration and permissions despite limited prior organizational cloud experience. Led QA rebranding (HPE to Micro Focus) for SmartConnectors. Conducted performance testing using internal log-generation tools. Scrum Master (final 6 months): Organized sprint ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives), facilitated communication between QA, developers, and management, and ensured backlog items were refined and prioritized. Improved sprint efficiency and backlog clarity, reducing blockers and improving delivery cadence.

Security QA Engineer testing ArcSight connectors and related products (ArcMC, ESM, Logger, ADP Event Broker). Worked within a 4-person QA team testing a portfolio of 350+ ArcSight SmartConnectors, focusing primarily on widely used integrations. Created test environments, validated connector functionality and updates, and provided technical support to engineers working with the integrations. Tested different types of SmartConnectors, validating event flows, parsers, and FIPS security standards across Windows/Linux environments.
