I developed strong analytical skills while working at INAOE by analyzing geographic databases using PostgreSQL, Power BI and Google BigData. I was the leader of the Geographic Analysis team for four years. I was in charge of data migration and normalization from MySQL to PostgreSQL databases, managing the PostgreSQL database. I did a research on finding license free software that could fix the problem that each user license of the software ArcGIS is very expensive, generating very high operation costs. I found and learnt to use QGIS database free software and I taught my team members how to use it. The result was lowering software purchasing costs by approximately 90%. Plans were being made in my department to implement the Carto Software (https://carto.com/ ) to perform Spatial Analysis, but due to the high cost, I did a research to find free software that offered the same functions. The result was a combination of software such as QGIS, PostgreSQL and Power BI. I carried out an investigation to learn how to use and implement the Google Engine software to automate the tasks of Remote Sensing and Satellite Image Processing, with the result of simplifying and automating the work that was previously done step by step in software like Erdas. •
