• Designed and built Optimus end-to-end: a .NET 10 / ASP.NET Core + Blazor Server ISP management platform serving 8,000+ subscribers for MiraVision, a Colombian ISP. • Implemented automation on top of OLTs via SSH, executed from the VPS, including bulk ONU suspension / reconnection flows for Internet+TV and TV-only service tiers. • Owned full infrastructure on a dedicated VPS: IIS, SQL Server, Cloudflare (Full Strict + HSTS) and PowerShell backup scripts. • Delivered the full CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions, automated deploys, backup/restore and RDP/SSH hardening. • Rebuilding the Optimus UI 2.0 in React to replace the current Blazor Server front end with a richer, more responsive client experience.

• Led Umbraco CMS upgrades across the MERCHANT estate: CCI corporate site from 13 to 17.3.4 on .NET 10, QSP compliance from 13 to 17.3.4, and Kingfisher Vendor Hub from 10 to 13, including solution restructure, migration to non-obsolete APIs, EF8 breaking changes and zero-warnings builds. • Core backend contributor on Kingfisher Vendor Hub, a multi-tenant supplier portal (Umbraco 13 / .NET 8) for Kingfisher Group vendors across multiple brands and regions. Designed the Vendor Record / Management Group / Admin Point sync chain against Microsoft Entra ID, including propagated block, cascading unsync and self-healing against external deletions. • Built the MedicoLegal HTML to OpenXML pipeline for medical-report Word generation, supporting table of contents, multi-level numbering, page-break-aware tables, headers/footers with page numbers and placeholder tokenizer. Defined IaC in Bicep and integrated Application Insights / OpenTelemetry. • Led QSP compliance modernisation: Nested Content to Block List migration with data-migration script, SQL injection remediation in ServicesSurfaceController, async-first refactor and cache layer with fine-grained invalidation after bulk operations. • Delivered the Supply & Logistics Dashboard with Power BI. Built an end-to-end GDPR member anonymization tool over SQL Server with audit table, schema validation, re-run support and auto-generated reports. • Owned post-pen-test remediations across Kingfisher (anti-forgery tokens, auth redirects, DoS warnings, comms access control). Deployed OWASP ZAP into nightly pipelines, reinforced password policy, request validation middleware, 2FA by environment and Key Vault secret management. • Optimised evidence loading, streamed CSV/master-data exports and JSON imports with cancellation tokens and split queries, eliminating browser timeouts on large tenants. • Rewrote Azure DevOps pipelines for .NET 10 / 8 with reusable deploy templates, release pipelines, nightly code scanning and branch-driven triggers. Integrated Nuke Build as a cross-repo build system. • Integrations: Microsoft Graph / Entra ID (SSO, groups, Administrative Units), Power BI, Application Insights / OpenTelemetry across three platforms. • Expanded Playwright E2E coverage and added a ZAP security suite against Hub and Vendor Manual on scheduled workflows. • Adopted AI-assisted engineering workflows (Claude Code, Codex) into daily delivery for refactors, PR reviews, test scaffolding and repetitive boilerplate work.

• Returned to The Cogworks as a contractor after 11 years as permanent staff, providing continuity on internal infrastructure and PR reviews while supporting ongoing projects with external-API integrations, security hardening and CI/CD on legacy and current Umbraco platforms.

• Restructured and modernised legacy Umbraco applications, performed version upgrades and integrated them with a complex custom client API. Member of the 24/7 emergency support rotation.

• Led the build of the new Blind Veterans UK site using a JAMstack approach with Umbraco in headless mode, and set up the full CI/CD infrastructure on Azure DevOps and Azure. Also delivered consultancy on headless architecture challenges and ran handovers and training sessions for incoming developers. • Led the Scouts UK migration from a legacy Umbraco version to .NET 7, including rebuilding critical APIs and integrating new features, ensuring seamless data transfer and functional parity. • Contributed to the Anna Freud Centre site redevelopment as part of the discovery / investigation team.

• Grew from Junior to Lead Developer over 11 years; earned Umbraco Certified Master and Clean Code Certification (Robert C. Martin). • Acted as tech lead on multiple client projects, driving end-to-end delivery and CI/CD pipelines (TeamCity, Octopus, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), significantly reducing deployment times. • Led large-scale security hardening across client sites: CSP via back-office configuration, .NET Framework 4.5.2 to 4.8.1 and Umbraco 8.17 to 8.18.15 upgrades, TLS 1.3 / AES_256_GCM_SHA384 across environments and Cloudflare, HTTPS-only cookies, security audits and HTTP-header compliance. • Provided expert Umbraco consultancy on third-party API integrations for enterprise clients (Foster + Partners, Canada Life, Smith & Williamson, Prostate Cancer UK, Dynamic Vines). • Led PR reviews, mentored developers and continuously improved team processes with the leadership group.
