Leading the design and development of a portfolio-management platform built with Java 21, Spring Boot 3.x and PostgreSQL, deployed to production on AWS with Docker. Architected the system using DDD + CQRS with a modular layout prepared for microservices, incorporating Apache Kafka and RabbitMQ for event-driven communication and service decoupling. Implemented Kafka producers and consumers for asynchronous processing of financial operations, ensuring reliable event ingestion and message processing across services. Designed secure REST APIs with Spring Security and JWT, structured input validation, centralized exception handling and SQL query optimization to reduce processing latency. Integrated AWS S3 for bulk ingestion of financial data, plus external services for email/notifications and Google reCAPTCHA. Containerized services with Docker and built CI/CD pipelines for deployment on AWS. Managed environment configuration and secrets across stages. Implemented automated testing with JUnit 5, Mockito and integration tests; established code review standards across the team. Developed a Python automation tool for Excel-based regulatory processes, reducing execution time from 2 hours to 3 minutes (~97.5%) and eliminating manual error risk in critical treasury workflows. Delivered the BancaPrime landing page to production, integrating external notification services. Built an internal Python scraping tool to automate data consolidation and analysis for business stakeholders.

Maintained and evolved Java 8 / Spring Boot applications in production, improving system stability, response times and overall reliability.
