▶ Financial Operations Web Application
– Designed and built a financial operations system handling disbursement request workflows, expense settlement
control; replacing manual processes across departments.
– Architected a multi-layer RBAC authorization system: JWT authentication middleware, three granular permission
middlewares (requirePermission / requireAnyPermission / requireAllPermissions), and a role/permission model with
soft delete and full audit trail.
– Designed a dual-database schema: MongoDB Atlas with Mongoose for users, roles, and permissions (Auth layer);
PostgreSQL for the financial module with ACID transactions, concurrent sequence control and race condition
prevention in unique code generation.
– Built a CI/CD pipeline with GitHub Actions: Docker Compose service orchestration for MongoDB and PostgreSQL,
automated test suite execution, minimum code coverage threshold validation, Docker image publishing to GHCR.
– Implemented a Jest and Supertest testing suite: unit tests with full mocks (controllers, middlewares) and integration
tests against a real database; organized using factory pattern (userFactory, roleFactory, permissionFactory) for
reproducibility and test isolation.
– Deployed infrastructure on AWS using IAM with least-privilege principles, EC2 for application instances, Application
Load Balancer for high availability, and RDS PostgreSQL; ensuring layer separation and system resilience.
– Documented the full API with Swagger/OpenAPI (swagger-jsdoc + swagger-ui-express): reusable schemas, perendpoint examples, global BearerAuth security, and RBAC permission notes per route.

commercial planning decisions for the sales team.
– Deployed the application on an on-premise server using Proxmox with virtual machines, managing network
