Spearheaded the establishment of 2 businesses in Panama from inception to launch, hiring over 200 people and generating close to USD 2M in revenue within 12 months. Established a comprehensive organizational structure for both entities and provided managerial prowess across various departments: Finance, Marketing, Business Development, Business Strategy, Sales, Product Development, Customer Experience and HR. I reported directly to the CEO and Founder of the business and worked together with the C-suite of the company spread over multiple countries, but managed the businesses in Panama with ±95% independence and autonomy.

As the LATAM Driver Experience Lead I was responsible for the relationship with - and overall experience of - over 1 million active drivers spread over 20 countries. In addition to overseeing a team of 4 employees, my responsibilities centered on monitoring engagement and experience KPIs, devising strategies for continuous improvement, and successfully guiding their execution. This also involved managing international stakeholders spanning various departments, seniority levels, and more than 9 countries worldwide.

During my tenure in this position, I oversaw operations in Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. My responsibilities encompassed managing pricing and incentives, competition, marketplace efficiencies, driver experience and relations, as well as the successful launch of our operations in Jamaica. I conducted regular data analysis on hundreds of thousands of interactions with our platform and collaborated closely with international stakeholders from various departments, including Policy, Legal, Communications, and Support teams. A key and recurring topic was expansion. I launched 1 country and 4 cities from scratch, and launched over 10 products in 9 cities across multiple countries.

In this role at a US Army contractor I organized and managed short- and medium- term USD100,000+ international projects from planning to reporting stage, with teams of around 30 men/women strong, ranging from Senior Subject Matter Experts to manual laborers. Limited availability of resources meant careful planning was necessary. Everything had to be perfect, because there are no second chances.
